These are, without a doubt, our Sand Karmandala mat’s most noteworthy properties. It is made of natural rubber and cork, which means that it is a natural, environmentally friendly mat.

PROTECTION

Thanks to these materials and its 4 mm thickness, it protects your joints and provides you with a high level of stability while practising your asanas. What’s more, it allows you to practise outdoors and on irregular or rough surfaces. If you normally suffer from discomfort during your practice, or if you practise yoga outdoors, we highly recommend this mat.

PROPERTIES

Cork is a natural material with great properties that can be beneficial when practising on your mat. Thanks to its insulating property, the mat protects you from the cold in winter and from the heat in summer, if the surface is hot. What’s more, its antibacterial and antimicrobial properties ensure a clean and healthy base for you to practise your asanas.

ALIGNMENT

Also, the chakra drawings in the middle will help you with your alignment during the poses. We don’t recommend any particular kind of care, since cork doesn’t absorb any liquids and doesn’t leave any stains.
